Entertainment Arena

Entertainment Arena

Bigger and better than ever before the Live Entertainment Arena will be the main hub of activity and have you on the edge of your seat as you enjoy a stellar cast of performers, live music and breathtaking displays throughout the day.

Music lovers should look out for a performance of Beatles and Elvis classics, given a folk twist by the Beatles Story. Meanwhile budding chefs can enjoy a cooking demonstration by Robert Owen Brown, Head Chef at Salford's Mark Addy. Robert will cook up some recipes from A Taste of Modern History, a new book which focuses on traditional North West dishes from the past, published by Modern History, the organisation charged with promoting Great Manchester's history and heritage.

Food Connect are also planning a special cooking demonstration, whilst Flamingo Land will be offering animal lovers the opportunity to handle some of their friendly little critters, and Pontins Blue Coats will take to the stage to show off their act.
