Farmers Market
Supported by Visit Manchester Food Connect, the farmers’ market is an old favourite which brings a host of local good food produce to the show. Sample delicacies, buy a treat to take home and enjoy live cookery demonstrations from the region’s leading chefs.
This years Farmers Market will be holding inspirational cookery demonstrations hosted by Robert Owen Brown, Executive Chef of The Mark Addy. A number of dishes will be designed using a hand picked selection of Manchester’s finest specialities. We will be demonstrating the fundamental importance of local, quality produce to the provision of world class cuisine in Greater Manchester.
Another great addition to the market is Mr Holden's Manchester Egg stall. Described by the Independent as “Manchester’s finest new export” and awarded the BBC Olive Magazine Pub Snack of the Year, Mr Holden’s Manchester Egg is a savoury taste sensation, a pickled egg wrapped in Bury Black Pudding and premium sausage meat, coated in a specially seasoned golden crumb. www.manchesteregg.com
